Charlotte NC Real Estate-All those Houses are Confusing!
Hey everybody, it is Eli Magids coming to you from Charlotte, North Carolina. Today, I wanna try and help out some of my buyers out there of Charlotte Real Estate. Buyers, when you get in with your realtor or broker into the car and you get all those sheets — you know, those MLS sheets — that tell you the address and square footage, and things like that, it gets very confusing when you go and look at a lot of houses, especially all at one time, you know, you see five, six, seven houses. You don’t know what’s going on. You don’t know what’s happening. After the first or second house, the confusion is crazy.
So what I suggest is, you take those MLS sheets when you go into the first house. You take a look and you say to yourself, “Is this the house I'm gonna buy?” If it is possibly a house you’re gonna buy, you’re gonna put it aside and say, “Okay. I like this house. This is a possibility.”
Then you go on to the next house, you walk in and you take a look and you say, “Is this the house I'm gonna buy?” If it’s not a house you’re gonna buy you’re gonna take that out of the MLS sheet. You’re gonna crumple it up and then you’re gonna toss it out because otherwise you’re gonna be very, very confused when buying homes for sale in Charlotte NC.
And that’s why you still have that one MLS sheet from the first house that you saw that you liked and you know that that’s the house that you liked.
Then you go to a third house, you take a look at it, is this the house you’re gonna buy and you say, “Well, yeah, maybe. It could be a house I'm gonna buy.”
So now you got the first house, you got the third house that are both maybe’s, then you have to compare in your head which one that you like better. “Is it the first house that I like better or the third house that I like better?” If you’re not sure you keep both and you say, “You know what, I like the first house better than this house although this is the house that I like.” Take the third sheet. Take it, throw it out because otherwise you will be very, very confused.
Take a pen with you. Take a notebook. Take some notes. And if you want, even take a little camera or your cellphone and take pictures of the houses that you liked.
The ones that you don’t like get rid of them immediately. Don’t even think of it. Don’t take a brochure because you will get confused. Keep it simple.
